Jeff Sites Joins Gildersleeve Partners

Gildersleeve Partners announces Trendwest Resorts co-founder Jeff Sites has joined the company. Gildersleeve Partners provides domestic and international business development, consulting and real estate brokerage services to the timeshare industry.

Together with his partner Bill Peare, Sites led Trendwest from a thinly capitalized 1989 Seattle startup through an IPO to the sale of the company in 2004 for over $900 million.  They achieved 20% annual growth for 12 consecutive years, reaching $700 million in annual revenue.  At the time of the sale, Trendwest was the third largest timeshare company in the world and is now part of Wyndham Worldwide.

Sites’ executive leadership positions at Trendwest grew from CFO to COO to President and ultimately CEO.  He and Peare left the company following the acquisition by Wyndham, and both became venture capitalists and angel investors to companies in the Seattle area.  Prior to joining Gildersleeve Partners, Sites also provided consulting services to a variety of individuals and companies in the Pacific Northwest.

In making the announcement, Larry Gildersleeve said, “Jeff brings to our company remarkable breadth and depth of timeshare industry experience and expertise, especially in the financial, development, marketing and sales disciplines. I had the great good fortune personally to have worked for Jeff at Trendwest, and I am delighted we are now business partners.”
